There's nothing better than a good pair of tennis shoes! Love your feet and take care of them, especially if you're on them all the time. There are multiple stores that will analyze your gait and find the perfect pair of shoes to fit your feet. Search one out. It's definitely worth it!
Step tracker with heart rate monitor capabilities
It helps me track my sleep, water consumption, steps, heart rate and calories burned—even my resting calories. Not only does it track all of that, it also encourages me to get up and move when I haven't been walking. And helps keep me on track.
A good blender
It works great for making shakes, smoothies and homemade ice cream. A good blender can add tons of variety to your diet. Here’s a protein-packed cherry almond smoothie recipe you can incorporate it into your diet for breakfast or a snack.
A fitness belt
I don't use a lot of gadgets, but I love my fitness belt. It is like a catchall for workout essentials, whether you're inside or outdoors. So now when I run, I can put my phone, wallet, badge and keys all in the belt. And it stays in place so my phone doesn't bounce around while I run or work out.
A food scale
A food scale is the most precise way to calculate portion size. Whether you are trying to lose fat or gain muscle, knowing how much you are consuming is helpful in reaching your goals. You can find food scales at your local grocery and big-box store and many online stores.
Working out with music is a must! But I hate it when the wire gets caught on things and pulls out the connection. Not only does it keep my music going, it also makes me feel free—no wires to tie me down. There are tons of brands and prices, so check out the reviews before you buy.
