Living well means enjoying the many delights of spring in the Lowcountry. This month’s calendar is filled with outdoor events, races and more.

Saturday, March 11 

Hunting Island Adventure Biathlon

Sea Island Rotary will host the Hunting Island Adventure Biathlon. Racers will paddle and run in the Southeast’s premiere kayak/run biathlon. Teams are welcome. Race details and registration. 

Camp Dig It

Can you dig it? Introduce your child to the world of archaeology with a professional archaeologist. Participants will learn about the past as they excavate and identify from dig boxes. Details.

Saturday, March 18

Beaufort Twilight Run


Enjoy an 8K run, a 5K run or a more leisurely 5K walk. Stay after the race for an after party featuring local food trucks and live music. Race details, additional races and registration.

Friday, March 24 – Saturday, March 25

Hilton Head Wingfest


Between 15 and 20 local restaurants will cook their best wings to compete for the 2016 “Best Wings of Hilton Head” title. Look forward to live music, kid-friendly events and local restaurant rivalry. Details.

Dancing with our Stars

USC Beaufort Center for the Arts and CAPA (Child Abuse Prevention Association) will present a fun-filled night of local celebrities and dance professionals raising funds for CAPA. Who will win the title of “Best Dancers in Beaufort”? Details.
