Friday, March 4

 Camp Dig It


Can you dig it? Introduce your child to the world of archaeology with a professional archaeologist. Participants will learn about the past as they excavate and identify from dig boxes. Details.

 Sam Day


Celebrate folk art and Gullah culture at the Sam Doyle Festival. The festival will feature art from local and regional artists. Details.

Tuesday, March 15

Basic Navigation and Tools of 16th-Century Explorers

Learn the art of celestial navigation with methods sailors used 500 years ago. Upon completion of this class, participants will be able to plot a course using a sextant, quadrant, compass and chronometer. Details.

Saturday, March 19

Beaufort Twilight Run & Oyster Roast


Enjoy an 8K run, 5K run or a more leisurely 5K walk. Stay after the race for an oyster roast featuring live music. Race details, additional races, and registration.



15-20 local restaurants will cook their best wings to compete for the 2016 Best Wings of Hilton Head title. Look forward to live music, kid-friendly events and local restaurant rivalry. Details.

Hunting Island Adventure Biathlon


Sea Island Rotary will host the Hunting Island Adventure Biathlon. Racers will paddle and run in the Southeast’s premiere kayak/run biathlon. Teams are welcome. Race details and registration.
