KidFest Beaufort: CANCELED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER

Come to the Cross Creek Shopping Center from 10 am to 2 pm for this FREE community event for Beaufort families. To celebrate the Month of the Military Child and Child Abuse Prevention Month, enjoy child-focused games and activities. Details.

2016 Lowcountry Fly Fishing Expo

Learn all about fly-fishing in this popular day of presentations, demonstrations and seminars complete with one-on-one casting instruction. Spring Island Native Plant Sale

The Spring Island Trust Native Plant Project is offering more than 100 species of native       plants for purchase. Available plants will include scarlet sage, lanceleaf coreopsis, blanketflower, butterflyweed, buttonbush, highbush blueberry, yellow jessamin, swamp sunflower, native azaleas, tall skullcap, river oats, and aster including stokes aster.

March for Babies — Lowcountry

11th Annual Junior Service League of Beaufort BBQ

This tasty fundraiser is a great night out for anyone in the Beaufort community. Meet your friends at Tabby Place on Port Republic Street to enjoy live music, all-you-can-eat BBQ, an open bar, a silent auction and more. Last year’s event raised more than $10,000 for local nonprofits. Details.

Harbormaster Spring Show

Tap your toes to the sounds of the Harbormasters and Beaufort Belles. These choral and barbershop groups will be performing at the USCB Center for the Arts along with acclaimed guest quartet The Mighty Wind beginning at 7 pm. Details.

Fashion for Compassion Friends of Caroline Hospice Benefit

This annual event showcases the latest fashions from Beaufort’s local shops and boutiques. Now in its 13th year, the lunchtime fundraiser will also feature a live auction, a silent auction and entertainment at the Dataw Island Club House from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm. Details.

2016 Palmetto Heart Walk

The family-friendly Heart Walk raises funds to save lives from heart disease and stroke. Walk either the 5K route or one-mile loop with friends, family, coworkers or make new friends along the way. Activities begin at 8:30 am at Shelter Cove Towne Center in Waterfront Park. Walk begins at 9 am. Details.

The Penn Center 1862 Circle Gala
